With a background in television and film production, Lance's career in website development and web based technologies initially began as the internet was launched and became more mainstream. He created and ran one of London’s top development agencies and, as technical director, administered a staff of more than 20 developers.
This business was prominent in some of the web technologies used in internet banking and property. They undertook several offshore banking projects as well as scores of assignments from the dot com boom.
He returned to Kent in 2002 as a less pressured life in the country seemed more agreeable. e formed a smaller local company, developing and delivering all aspects of internet technologies to neighbourhood businesses, whilst retaining many national and international clients; this proved enormously successful as lower overheads have enabled True Web Design to offer customers high levels of knowledge and expertise for modest fees.
Our experience spans all aspects of the internet from simple brochure sites, ecommerce and web marketing to sms technologies, SEO and PPC. We have a deep understanding of domains, environments, and associated security measures. Our clients today include large and small companies from all sectors, from brochure sites to much larger and more complex projects.

The core business has two distinct divisions: bespoke development and an object based CMS, used by SME’s to deliver well designed, functional websites at affordable costs.
A degree of the bespoke work includes handing all web technology and development for local media, design and marketing companies but NDA’s (non disclosure agreement) prevent us from detailing information on these projects
We have my own servers in a German Data centre together with both ASP and PHP environments, managed and backed up nightly. These are very reliable and form a good halfway house between standard hosting and dedicated servers. We only host our own projects and projects of our clients.
